Live streaming of the 2013 FIBA Asia in Manila, the 27th FIBA Asia Championship, has been revealed by the Federation International Basketball Association through its official website.
Hosted by the Philippines, the FIBA Asia 2013 Championship men’s basketball tournament will have its opening day game between Iran and Malaysia at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on August 1, 2013, Thursday at 11:00 am local time.
The highly-anticipated championship cup will have its closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11, 2013.
Participating teams for the the 2013 FIBA Asia games include, Group A: Jordan, Taipei, Saudi Arabia and Philippines. Group B is composed of Japan, Qatar, and Hong Kong. Group C is joined by regional powers China, Iran, and Korea, and Malaysia. Group D is comprised of the nationals from Bahrain, India, Kazakhstan and Thailand.
This sports event will air live on AkTV, the sports broadcasting arm of TV5. The live coverage can also be seen on cable channel Basketball TV or BTV, which is managed by Solar Sports.
All games of Smart Gilas in 2013 FIBA Asia in Manila, composed of LA Tenorio, Jimmy Alapag, Larry Fonacier, Ryan Reyes, Gary David, Gabe Norwood, Japeth Aguilar, Greg Slaughter, Jayson Castro, Jeff Chan, Jared Dillinger, Ranidel de Ocampo, Marc Pingris, JunMar Fajardo, Kelly Williams, Sonny Thoss and Marcus Douthit, will be aired live on AkTV, and Basketball TV or BTV.
